PC restarting after a few hours
My pc restarted itself after I played this for about 2 hours yesterday. I checked and saw no overheating issue. I tried again today after updating drivers and i still seem to be fully crashing and my pc restarts. Not sure what is causing this. Is anyone else having this issue?

Only time I seen thsi was PSU issue not heat, and wasn't in this game. You might be pushing your PSU too hard and its causing it to not give enough power or its just getting old and needs to be replaced soon...

Curiously I had the same issue.
I made my PC in 2022 and the spec is Ryzen 7, Geforce RTX 3070 so it doesn't seems to be spec issue.
The "Restart" happened more often when I go to certain places the lake near the fisherman, and swamp.
I'm not sure(I major in biology and have zero knowledge about computer), but I think it is the memory issue? Because my 16gb ram is always on around 92% when playing this.
More puzzling is it stopped after couple of days.

I had 32Gb ram, I had 1 utube tab while playing and i was running around 20-21Gb, maybe that's where your crash, I have no idea about the restart thou.

A similar incident has already happened a couple of times, yes. A game error occurs causing the computer to reboot.

its this, i had the same issue with another game and when 3d benchmarking, bought a new graphics card, still did it , bought a more powerful PSU (500-600) and no more resets...

I purchased this pc a year ago so i will look into warranty stuff for the psu. I dont seem to get this issue with any other game surprisingly. I even max out settings on games like BDO and it runs smoothly for hours.

I just had this same issue. My build is three months old. 7800x3d, 4070ti super, 32gb gddr5@6000mhz, and a msi 850w power supply.
