I think i'll just whislist and see if there will be regular updates before buying.
mojo, buy now ! this is great and already so many things to do
I need the bandits to try to siege my town not knowing that deliveries magically appear despite their attempted blockade.
I use fences for this.
It certainly isn't the best choice, just the only choice for now.
But I have a giant funnel of a pair of fences - a couple dozen in either direction, then a long 1-person-wide route to my village in the center of it. If someone sneaks around in one attack, I add 2-4 more fences in that direction.
I stand on one of the stockpiles at the crux and can aim all the way down 1 direction of the funnel where the attackers always come from. If I had more archers, I'd try having them stand on other stockpiles and we'd volley until the attackers all died.
Have to, since a level-10 bandit can last a couple minutes with 6 of my guys attacking melee at once :(
