Expanding You Town?
Where are you all building your Tier 2 buildings are you spreading them outside your zone or are you building new settlements and just delivering goods back to your town.

I'm curious if you have to keep all buildings within a border or can they just be within a vicinity of a area?

Thanks

I personally built my t2's close to the other amenities so the poor wee villagers never had to far to walk.

Better make your main town have all utilities. Required materials keep expanding, it's hard to control and distribute resources around.

Build outposts to obtain resources you need.

There's an insanely good open area to build at in the south, though you'll have to contend with frequent passerby bandits until you take out their camps. I actually like them rolling through for a constant supply of renown and straps.

The area is directly between the to most Southeast three diamond strongholds. There is a ton of open space and an iron node pretty close to the area along the road to the southwest of this spot.

I make main settlment self sufficient to a degree you can't get metal for isntance at least not for long in one spot. So I got mining camp for metal set up that does deliveries to the base, but they got farms, trapper hut, hunting lodge, woodcutter, forager etc etc. They get everything but metal themselves basicly.

I do pretty much the same thing, but the issue I always had was space....until I found that spot I mentioned. Now space isn't an issue at all.

Would it be possible to show on the map? :)

I'll see if I can figure it out. I have issues posting pictures because I don't use many external sites. But really, if you go directly between the two encampments mentioned in my prior post...you can't miss it. The area is super open with a horseshoe type main road.

Here is the screenshot. You can see my halfway built town in the south. To the west is a mining tent. This is where the Iron is. There's also a Tin rock there.

Let me know what you think of the area once you get there!

Will do! So far, I’ve only scouted 1/10 of the map and reaching into T2 now. But I’d love a big flat area for planning a town.
