Lumberjack and how it works?

"I" have to chop the trees? That is what I am doing. Then another comes and cuts the logs into wood. That's how it works? I can't get anything out of the Logging Camp. How does it work? These 2 sites are quite far from each other and my Village.

tell workers to focus wood put axe on them or in the camp and theyll go there and carry logs back to your camp one at a time unless you use a bigger inventory mod

you can equip them with a bag, seed pouch or at tier 2 a log sling to increase their inventory, although the bags at least are a little bugged (if you reclaim the bag a few days later you will also get some 'hidden' items that got stuck on the NPC but were not visible. I've found shields, an axe, wood, etc

Let me make sure that I don't have them with wood priority.I think I do. But anywhos, this is what is going on with me. I go cut down the trees and cut for logs in from of the lumberjack site.. They come to lumberjack site and carry wood back to camp storage. Why aren't they doing all this by themselves? And then over at the logging camp, nothing is happening??

If you have axes in your logging camp, try this:

Click on "N" and go to "Storage," filter for "resources" and go to logs. Look at the three numbers. The first is logs in your settlement, the second is claimed logs "waiting for deliver." The third is what is being delivered now. If all of your logs are tied up as "waiting for delivery" or "being delivered," you need to set someone to a higher delivery priority (or do it yourself). Coincidentally, if all your "top off" amount is tied up in delivery ("0" in the first column and the second column is higher than your "top off" amount) they won't cut anymore logs until what logs you have are used up. Set that threshold higher in the top off amount, while you work on your delivery chain.

Are you 100% sure they have an ax in the woodcutter lodge? That's the only time mine stop chopping..

there has to be an ax i there or on them for them to do the chopping.

I'll check when I log back on. I know for a fact I have extra axes on my Weapons Rack.

Make sure at the bottom where it says "Resources" you have clicked the resource you want them to gather. Like 'Wood' or 'Log' and put the amount you want them to get along with Top Up or One Off...

yup I hate that they fill that up then just leave it there.. pretty annoying.

I think I got it working. I saw some1 come pick up a log for the logging camp. Not sure yet about the wood. But I now see how it works, thnx to u guys.

Or the log sling or the pouch or anything that is in game that expands their inventory... Hell log sling lets them carry 3...
