Bug and 2 questions

Since today I got some small pieces of meat on my smoker that don't get done, nor can I remove them of course.
I don't know if is important, but as far as i remember my people added the meat to the smoker. They don't get finished, so the people can't take them off either, or maybe they are already gone and just look still hanging and unfinished. There is no progession circle at all, just some dots after their name.

Also I got a little question please: I want to reseach the food cellar, but somehow my people don't research it and I don't know how to research myself anything. My highest research person is on level 5 but noone researches the cellar even if I add all needed resources to the bench, which reason could that have please? Oh and I did research the thresher, which is in the techtree underneath it.

I also wondered how to be able to produce copper arrows, because I'd need them for a quest, but can't find them in the research?

Do you have an apprentice Innkeeper to research the food cellar?

you can produce bronze arrows in the toolmaker

Need apprentice villagers (specific trades for different buildings (states what trade you need in research on the right)) for some research later on
And not sure what you need to research to unlock the bronze arrows but I do know that harder tier archers can drop them when killed

Ok thank you guys that helps me, I was already wondering if I need a higher tier researcher, so he needs to be inkeeper for the food cellar, yes I read that at the research bench and thought I have to free a village to get someone like this, because my guys are not specialized on anything. Can't I research anything?

You unlock them by teching yew shortbow

no you cant research yourself. you need the worker that is listed on the right of the tech you want to research

Yes but unfortunately I can not research that bow yet.

The tech will say what profession is required. All profession level labourers require you to free the village before you can recruit them.
