- give lumberjack camps just the aditional option to replant
- let trees just regrow on same spot after like 2 years
- well or if really wanted a forester camp
(i personally think the first 2 options would be fine enough and less work)
Obviously, if you cut em down while they are "young tree"s, then you won't get logs out of em.
only young ones for wood not the big ones giving logs
(young ones as far i saw not became log ones, they stay young ones)
Build a loggingcamp away from your settlement, build a lite shack and an storrage there. Assign these Buldings and one worker to a new outpost, then set an autodelivery of food to your outpost and logs/wood to your settlement.
Sure there are enough trees in the whoile map and outposts work just fine.
Its more about the landscape become barren and ugly after chopping off all in the area
Yes, but if you dont want to loose your trees, do not build a Loggingcamp in your Base, start with an outpost right away. This way you can select the trees you want to get away.
Well, the reason to argue is... that trees do regrow on their own.
What would a forester do? Just plant more trees? Make them regrow faster?
But that is false... people keep saying that, but they do regrow into log giving trees in my game.
