Crafting leather needs some work

I made a tanner hut to craft leather in order to make the T3 gear but it takes so long more than a day to craft 1 piece can we get some fix for this it feels impossible to craft it.
the recipe to make it is cheap but the time is way too much tbh

The game is by design a very long winded experience, not meant to be rushed through. I suggest leaving bandit camps up so you have more combat to do while waiting for things to happen tbh.

How this can be too long? Just build more of the same building and use more npc to do the job for you. Nothing prevent you to build 7x the same building. Also by leveling your npc stat this reduce the duration.

@jokers27 u need some1 with rank 5 hunter to craft it for some reason so thats not something easy to find
i built 2 tanners so far and planning on the third soon but thats not the point
the point is im trying to make gear for all my fighters and it takes around 20 or 30 leather to craft full gear for each fighter so thats like 1k leather so thats like 2 years of crafting

didnt know for the rank 5 requirement, this effectively add a big step. Book are costly

it takes 12mins to craft one leather which is way too long considering how short the days are. Also some T3 research can cost 7-9 leather and that's before you actually make the item. This defiantly needs to be lowered.

On a side note you can trade with Bradford (sp) for leather which makes it a bit less of a pain.

I would agree. I had the old condition and it took about 2-3 in game days to finally finish a single piece. Even without the cold condition, my crafting is level 9 and it tells me it has a crafting time of 12 minutes. But I literally watched a couple episodes of a show on netflix while waiting for it to craft and it still didn't finish in that time. Something should definitely be done about this
