Can equipment repair be scheduled to NPC ?
So my little mining camp is going through sturdy pickaxes fast... Not exactly sure how fast, but one every few days i guess.

So when I set up transfers of damaged and repaired items in the delivery, do NPC's actually repair items ? Or is this a player only action ?

I have been trying to figure this out as well, but I don't think it's an option until it's a fully broken implement that is sitting at the station. They do seem to repair those if you have the materials.

NPCs do repair fully broken items, but not those who has durability left

Great, thanks for the info... Automatically, or do I have to set something up in toolmaker ?

Then i will simply set up weekly deliveres of two tools, damaged one way, repaired the other way.

they will take broken tools from the storage, grab the material they need and repair them :)

Is this happening fully automatically ? Cause I do not see a job option in the menu of the toolmaker, just in my own crafting menu is a repair list.

yes, as long as you have the ressources, they will repair everything

Just drop the broken tools into the management inventory of your workstation. If you have the mats the NPC's will do the rest. I don't even think you have to deposit the materials, just the broken item. Also, the NPC's themselves seem to drop off any broken tools to the station if they break while they are using them.

Thanks, i give it a try.... Unfortunately i cannot set up delivery for broken items it seems, however the word "stury pickaxr" shows up two entries, so maybe one is the broken one. Otherwise I will look for local repair, a simple workbench should be enough i hope.

The second one of each item is the broken one.

Cool, then i guess this is the way to go.
