Making thatch..

What am I missing here :D I have the wheat, it is in storage.. I have a guy set to the task of crafting thatch.. But he never starts, he just idles.. For some reason, it's like the task does not exist :/

Turn the wheat into straw at the thresher? If it is your first wheat, I suggest turning it into grain and planting a farm, so you don't have to raid for wheat again.

And you get either grain.. or straw.. not both with the thresher.. which seems counter intuitive but whatever.. so start with harvesting grains so you can grow your own wheat.. that you then turn into straw in the thresher.. and then into thatch with the weaver.. and be sure to set the prio on the wheat in your farm to zero after a while or you bloat your inventory. Always keep a stash of grain.. you can´t use it for anything other than making straw until tier 3 when you can discover the last art of making bread by the looks of it. So you only need to keep some around for the thatch.. nothing else.

Farming level 3 is needed to make Thatch. If your worker is below that, then he won't do it.

The level ofthe NPCor you does not matter in this specific case. YOu simply can't craft Thatch out of Wheat. He misses the mid.-step in crafting Straw first as he needs 5 straw for 1 thatch

This.. definitely create a farm and set the priorities so that only wheat can be grown, it will give you a continuous cycle. Use thresher to top up grain seeds to like 20.. the rest you craft the straw to make the thatch.

None of the above actually guys.. The issue is/was that you have to allow your worker to have delivery tasks.. If not, he won't even fetch/bring materials to do his tasks..
