How do you guys Hunt Feathers?

since i cant hit them i tried sending hunters for em but... they can kill it once every few days but they wont go loot it...

what do now?

my hunters works just fine, are they good at hunting, what level do they have?

The crows have a pretty big hit box.. so with a bit of practice you learn to lead them with your shots and you will get the feathers.. they tend to bounce like crazy though... so make sure you keep a razor focus on where the body ends up or you could lose it.

somebody told here in this forum, that there are some chickens free to kill and loot feathers. But i dont remember where ... (i dont needed them until now)

Yes, there are chickens near the second town on the south side. You'll get a 10 point reputation hit for killing one, but that's easy to fix with an ancient coin.

north of the 2nd town is a heberlist hut on the road close to a tower ruin. there isa huge raven spot where you can easily farm them. They have a nest on a large rock.

The chickens are garbage its little feathers and its 10 rep hit to kill them with what ever town owns them. Just find the crows...

Grab a bow and get after them crows!

So difficult, but feels like such an accomplishment to take one down.
FWIW, it's NOT worth the effort to chase a dang crow for hours on end wasting countless arrows to get 3-5 feathers.

We need an option for animal husbandry, which seems fitting in the time the game is set, to harvest things like feathers, eggs, wool, milk etc. Cmon devs, hear our prayers!

Just liberate Bradford, after you can buy feathers every day

Go to a village you haven't started building rep with and murder their chickens. You can't go negative rep so there's no penalty at all.

You can trade feathers daily with Bradford once the village has been liberated.

i shoot crows and get tons of feathers.. hate to say it but you just have to get gud lol but seriously it gets a bit easier when you can make a yew bow and just learn how far to lead your shot when shooting down a crow. On a side note my village hunters suck something fierce at hunting, i find if i put 2 stacks of arrows in the hunter hut they use em but dont bring back anything its very rare if they do. I have had to do 90% of the hunting in my village.

Once you have the T2 hunting lodge you can set crows as a target. that will bring in more feathers than you know what to do with

Un-cut video with at least 4 kills in 5 shots or it didn't happen... Because I sure as heck don't buy off your 80% claim.

I can't get them to hunt. They decide to other things. Her priority is set to 1. Everything else is at 5.
