Yeah thats what i mean, most games wont start when you start it directly from the folder... you would need some kind of "crack" >.>

Or something like a script extender?

Anyone figured out how to start without updating yet?

Does anyone know what tool unpacks and repacks the .pak file(s) for Bellwright?

A lot of these mods are changing the game.ini or gamesettings.ini like Ark, Conan or any Unreal Engine games. So for the most part multipliers should not be affected by any patches. Other mods that change assets could be affected by updates but if it happens o well wait for the mod to be updated. (no different than other games) Just make sure if you are playing coop you all have the same mods and variants installed. I've had no issues with mods after several updates and am playing coop 100% of the time. BTW I love QoL mods for a personal experience. These mods have been great so far.

I LOVE them. They make the game so much more enjoyable. One shot a damn deer CHECK, food lasts for 24 hours CHECK, food does not rot (except radishes, they really hate radishes :p) CHECK, more arrow slots CHECK, and the list goes on.
The only mod that is missing that I think everyone would love is to recruit apprentices (ONLY) without having to liberate towns.

most of the mods look helpful. There IS a bunny suit mod i dont think i will have any use for

and i agree we should be able to either recruit apprentices without liberating the entire darn town OR just pay them a fee to do something for us without having to recruit them to our mob.

Mods are for the lazy. If you want an easy game or one you can beat in a few hours, why play a game like this? I still blame WoW, it turned gamers into wimps that wanted nothing but ez mode. Almost no gamers today would have lasted 5 minutes in the original Everquest where real grinds and real punishments existed.

There is a mod to recruit apprentices without liberation.
Better Villagers - Easier Recruitment
Check it out.

I have quite a few mods from nexus(20), not had a single problem with any of them even after the last patch, I hit nexus daily to check for updates and always looking for new mods to add.

Not really sure what mods I would like to see in future I've always kept an open mind when I hit nexus and it never fails to disappoint. from my own personal view if devs want the best for their game they should add mod support, it adds so much to the games and builds on community ties that in turn strengthens the game and brand.
