Do the towns respawn population.

I was just curious if the set towns respawn population. Say if you loose too many people during your play, can you deplete the population of the local towns or are they big enough, or do they get more peasants to counter your recruitment?

As for now, no. When recruited npc is killed twice, they are permanently dead which is hard to accidently accomplish.

You can build a village improvement house which says it increases population - anyone tested whether that adds new folks to the villages?

In another topic apparently someone said that it can attract NPCs from other professions. I just wanted to confirm this, in case anyone has tested it.
