Grain location ? Only that single one ?

Hi,

is there no other source for grain (seeds would be fine too) except that one place at the mill where i have to fight +10 heavy guards ?

I would love to build up my village a bit more before I get too deep into the games war mechanic, but thatch is the wall i have to break here.

you can sneak in and steal wheat. I went at night and with moving a little to keep distance and could fill up my inventory. You need the thresher to turn it into straw for thatch (5 straw to make 1 thatch sucks btw) or grain (which acts as seeds allowing you to grow wheat yourself)

I tried sneaking a few times, they usually detect me and then never stop chasing... But thanks for the tipp with the grain, i didn't knew this counts as seed (just as in RL, duh ! ) :)

I think I have 1 left, managed to steal one time. Should get me started.

I have found that sneaking around the western side of the wheat field works best. I've been able to fill my inventory multiple times. But, it's much better to just get a batch and turn it into seed. Learned that after probably a dozen runs lol

Try different spots all around that camp.

I went there one time with about 6 people.
Command them to harvest wheat and watch them fill up while you stay in command view and look out for patrols.
You can often time it right but if not... reload, reload, reload. =P

That one time I went? I put 1100 wheat in temporary storage all around that camp, to be shipped to the main camp daily. I'll be threshing wheat for game years.

i snuck in, grabbed 4-5 and then used the tresher to turn it into seeds for my own farm. so much less hassle than sneaking and stealing the full amount

Guards do stop chasing. just keep running opposite direction. when ur not sprinting they still wont catch you properly if you keep running straight. I just run in and grab some wheat then run out. Wait till they stop chasing then run back in and loot some more.

Just remember to consume a bit of food first.
