Moving base
Any one reckon its worth moving my whole base some where more central near higher tier Resources rather then messing around with out posts?

i just moved my base closer to things that i needed to gather for building tier two structures . was gonna start doing "outposts" after i get better buildings ...... ive also spent alot of time NOT doing missions tho, an have built up like 10 villagers or so. now im really starting to feel the need for outposts my self buttttttt. i dont know how big your set is or how much you gotta move, but a big reason for my rebuild was i hella needed more space. so now ive two-three stockpiles for each dif thing stone-ore / plants-seeds an such. i had hoped that i could stock my mats up an just build a couple of my tier 2's all at once when i find a good spot to make my next move. i was gonna just leave a hand full of people at my river side shack base that im in right now, as farmers to send to foods and reeds to the "village" ima build later on.

dont know if that helps or not :D

One of the biggest advantages to outposts are that you can transport resources between settlements instantly. It can be incredibly advantageous to set up a lumber camp in some trees and have a dedicated woodchopper just keep sending logs that will be shipped directly to your settlement overnight instead of needing to be carried by hand.

In the top right of the build menu is a disassemble button use it to remove buildings. Be careful it will stay active after use and you may remove something you want to keep.

thank you so much! If I delete a warehouse, will the things inside be lost?

best rule of thumb, empty it before demolishing it. Then you know all your stuff is ok. I don't trust my stuff ending up in a loot bag as they sometimes despawn too fast. Also remember the golden rule press b again after you demolish anything. Otherwise you may delete something you don't want to.

I had the same idea but decided to wait. I WILL have to build buildings of higher tier eventually, so I plan to only do actual move when I start getting the final tier buildings, where I would explore most of the map and find a good location and plan the settlement right from the start instead of the haphazard way I started.

Move your main base not for resources, but for better vicinity to the villages you're going to liberate. You will have to defend them and if you are too far away you won't get your troops there in time.

Explore this place in the south. There's a TON of open space to build on. The only issue is that it's far away from other settlements, so when you get new people, they have quite the walk to make.
