Ore outpost suggestions

Should i bother making a copper/tin ore outpost or should i just gather it myself and wait till i get to iron to make a outpost then? I feel like finding copper/tin nodes close to each other and building a outpost or having to build 2 one for each would not be worth but idk.

I would consider the tin and copper outposts. Once you unlock tier 2 research and research and build the toolmaker you can make straps. straps use BRONZE not Iron like the description says so you will want plenty of copper and tin.

I think you better mines iron ore youself. Later make more outpost if you feel you can defence again bandit raid at outpost far away you base, like iron outpost

oh really did not know that so yeah even later it will be important so next question do i make 1 outpost for each ore or try to make one in the middle of the nodes? not sure if anyone has found a really close copper and tin node next to each other or not

you can always give 3 people pick axes an have them do the work for you fill em all up an send em home ... or just drop a fast travel an a stockpile near by an just make sure its empty the night befor a raid ... demo it an change the sign over to your main settlement an either it'll auto clear cause there is no outpost OR they go to where your main set up with all your people an walls an such

I wouldn't recommend mining yourself. It's mostly for NPCs whereas you collect the ore pieces by hand on the ground. An outpost is very useful to set up and ship resources back to your main settlement and should be useful for all three tin, copper and Iron.
