Check Current Villagers Profession?

Does anyone know if there is a way to check your villagers professions? We hired a few villagers when we first started and didn't know that their profession mattered, but with tier 2 research needing certain professions. Is there anyway to check what they were?

I believe you will want to liberate your first village through the main quest which will then allow you to recruit apprentice level artisans

not sure if it is in their stat screen but when you come to them in person they should have it above their head what they are, beggar, aprentice blacksmith etc ...
