Farming and seeds

do we not get the seeds back after a harvest? i seem to be running low on seeds now and resupply getting costly

It seems to depend on farming level, if I have my low farming guy running a farm he doesn't get seeds very often, where as my high farming guy gets seeds almost every harvest.

Yes, seeds seem to tie into farming level. I'll wager it's also dependant on the crop, as flax seems to produce significant numbers of seeds even at low farming levels.

I would imagine you have oooooodles of flax seeds by the time you start farming. I would recommend getting select villagers' farming levels nice and high by blowing through those flax seeds before leaning into more expensive items.

Don't forget to focus all your farming books into the one villager with the highest potential and have him reading them round the clock.

Do the same with other professions ahead of time and you can hit the ground running with things like farming.

i tried to get select villagers to do farming i run 6 farms and the weeding alone is hard on just 4 people farming so i now converted my whole main pop to farming as a number 1 issue to be dealth with
