Letting food burn (I need help/advise)

I have a few people on delivery priority 1 and someone on cooking priority one and the smoker is the only thing set at priority one.
Someone puts food on the smoker or campfire and they just sit there till they burn.
Does this happen to anyone else, does anyone know how to make it work?

Is it perhaps burning after they go to bed with the food on the fire?

oh boy....you would not imagine how many rotten food i put in the toilet because it glogged al my storages. im not gonna lie when i expect the numbers around 1500 so far (or more)

I have a different problem. Some one put burned shrooms into the composter but only 3 ... now i need to burn a shroom to fill it up but my peeps remove them asap .... so i need to stay up at night to burn one ;)

have you set the storage to allow your roasted food in them?

That really sucks! The only reason I found out about the compost was just scrolling through all the tech available just out of curiosity..and i just happen to remember that one.

I have a stockpile solely for food with everything in the food category selected. I was hoping the latest update would have fixed it but sadly not. My campfire was though for the first time.

Some ideas why youre food got roasted:
- as mantioned if they go to sleep they wont take it from the smoker
- make sure you have a stockpile nearby that is allowed for food AND not full,
wenn you start farming weed, this can happend very quickly
Take weed out of your foodstocklist to prevent this
- give your Cookperson only other Jobs that are near the cockingstation
- give your Cookperson no other job that take a long time to complete like crafting
