u should build on neutral village zone that means close to a village where u started the game example the Village Well or the Bellring it should be inside village neutral zone

Building for the village increase their trust in you, their prosperity, and some even improve their militia (once they are liberated).

The idea of the game is that you are fighting back the Queen and liberating all the villages (The brigands work for the queen).
