I am really on the fence and am just going to wait, I found a post in Of Kings and Men that really hit home for me. Chaz said it best back in 2016. My tip to not get disappointed by Early Access: Research the developers. Check who they are, check what they did. Then it becomes very apparent what's here to stay.
He sounds like a reasonable guy from what I've read who really cares about Donkey Crew. He seemed pretty passionate about Of Kings and Men, and this is very similar so it could be a renewal of that passion. But the quote I found in Lost Ark about them being abused by there publisher makes me wonder how this will turn out... I really hope this game makes it, it looks like something great! KCD 2 has got me really itching for something like this right now.
