Forestry Hut?
There needs to be some sort of tree planting hut.

Currently, Im cutting trees that are at least 10 minutes away........

the later game becomes heavy wood reliant.....with no way currently of replenishing your local supply.

i noticed the trees do grow back , but they have a cycle to get a log from it takes a while . I'm sure they will address it in upcoming patches
On Discord they already said they don't regrow, the "Log Ones"
Trees that give logs do not regrow.

The trees that just give wood to regrow (Young Trees).

Yes I know, but its quite a problem later on.

Most of the later buildings use logs for building and also for creating planks,

By then, you also have used a lot in the local area.

Basically you find yourself building lumber mills quite far away :/
The maps pretty big, I’d suggest build multiple outposts “Villages” as you progress, save the best spots for last to use the minimal supply in that area. I’ve noticed there’s a lot of strategy that goes into this game and most people just don’t get it
Its not an issue at all considering you can setup Sign Post and when done in an area just remove it and find another spot its quite quick and easy :steamsalty::2016watermelon:
All of these suggestions do not fix the issue. The issue is that big trees do not respawn and it needs to be fixed. It makes the areas look very ugly and takes the beauty out of the game. If they are intended to not respawn, it needs to be changed, or give us an option in the game settings to let them respawn, or allow us to replant them.

I agree, however you are likely to find a small group of resisters.......

Your not wrong.
I agree. I read the replies and suggestions, so don't bother repeating them. We need a means to regrow these.

the whole game is broke at t2 you slow down more to a snail pace when you get armor stamina is broken how fast it drains and npcs dont eat right enough to even go anywhere with out spending time feeding them.
I also agree. Specially considering with how often you go through the seasons. It only makes since for them to grow back. I've already been through like 10 to 15 winters, which I would think would be like 10 to 15 years.

Lol That is indeed how seasons work
Agreed, some way of having trees grow back would be good.
I've been researching the developer for a few hours trying to decide to buy or not. I found this mentioned in Discord when I got there. One of the "Grand Architects" said they are working on it but it might not be possible. From what I've gathered it seems you're expected to keep moving and building new settlements. Not try to build some super fortress and never leave.

I am really on the fence and am just going to wait, I found a post in Of Kings and Men that really hit home for me. Chaz said it best back in 2016. My tip to not get disappointed by Early Access: Research the developers. Check who they are, check what they did. Then it becomes very apparent what's here to stay.

He sounds like a reasonable guy from what I've read who really cares about Donkey Crew. He seemed pretty passionate about Of Kings and Men, and this is very similar so it could be a renewal of that passion. But the quote I found in Lost Ark about them being abused by there publisher makes me wonder how this will turn out... I really hope this game makes it, it looks like something great! KCD 2 has got me really itching for something like this right now.
