another thing is priority mentioned before.
It often doesnt work.
I had a trappers hut with 7 traps.
Put it top priority, and after 40 in game days.......0 pelts.....0 meat.
There seems to be a bug when they set them, nothing happens after that.
the forest area has been completely cleared
they also need bait a trapper should do that stuff ive never even tried did things manually until I had the hunter cabin then just let it run out it's usefulnes I have 9 traps all broken sitting in the same place since as I said day 2
I've 8 traps lined up with decent space between in wooded areas. 3 traps are 'on stock' to replace broken ones as well as bait.
As mentioned from others before:
You might check your priorities on traps (buildings) and your trapper(s) jobs.
Raising Hunting and Agility let you get 'more faster'.
Good hunting!
mine are literally in the middle of my camp. they are all piled around each other. they are all just inside a brown area (Forest) on the map. my village is Due south of Haerndean. before the first road. 9 traps I have never had a problem with them. they are almost always full.
unless this has changed recently I think they due magically appear.
Need to make sure AI is foraging berrys or mushrooms, for traps, we got 10 of each
Need to make sure AI is topping of production of new traps, we got top of 3
AI does a good job at keeping us well fed.
