2024 Unoptimized games
Yet another horribly unoptimized Early Access game.
Draws power from GPU like a crypto-miner. while looking worse than vanilla Skyrim. Or any game before 2011 in general. Even when it's 60fps capped, Holy Damn :csgohelmet:
Very poor performance.
Was really looking forward to playing this, guess needs a lot more time cooking in the oven :/

Hope the devs can figure it out in the near future.
In the meantime, refunding the game and willing to buy again when it's fixed...:)

Not spending a dime on devs that are clear sc4mmers lmao

do u have any info about this? news articles or industry articles, anything? i have not found much claiming the devs are scammers. if u have a link or anything send it my way please. that is a serious allegation to make without any evidence. and before i tell anybody i know these devs are scammers i would rather have some evidence to back myself with. i am not questioning u or saying u are not telling the truth. i never heard this about the devs and i would like to find out more. i am pretty new to PC gaming and know less about game developers

No problems here either, no crashes, runs smooth at 1440p 75 - 85 fPS. Mid range PC, i7 - RTX 4070ti 32GB and fast SSD. Looks wonderful on Ultra with frame gen off.

i've been running it with frame generation on. i wonder how much a difference it makes. guess i will try playing with fram gen off and see what happens. i have similar build but the rtx 4080 ryzen 9 7950 is about the only difference and i have had zero issues running everything maxed out but with frame generation on

whats up with that? i have seen other people saying Dragons Dogma 2 is burning up computers. thats insane if its true

RAM: 16GB DDR4 3600MHz
On 1440p
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
On SSDs

Can play Cyberpunk 2077 on High no problems, while this game 60fps capped on Medium draws 2X more power from GPU. lol

I had exactly the same system a week ago. You can hardly play with your specs, even with ANNO on MAX with a high population :D. Then Anno would have to be poorly optimized :D. Now I have upgraded to a 7800x3D and 6800XT DDR5 32GB for little money. And Zack everything on ultra soooo smoooth. Oh, you can hardly play Cities Skylnes 2 with your specs. You can't use cyberpunk as a benchmark. These are 2 pairs of shoes

Apparently the devs are still working on Last Oasis trrying to get mod support and create a season 6.
They are being criticised for starting a new project (Bellwright) before Last Oasis is finished but their option was apparently start something else or fire 90% of their employees.

Oh one more thing, I just see in the reviews that people with a worse system have better fps than you. I think you have a virus or something similar on it :D or you watch too much porn hehe.

Because those people don't understand how to setup there computers to AUTO SHUTDOWN when temps reach high levels...pretty simple IMO to look it up too. Just sayin

Frame gen + upscale is a must for UE5+ games that are both Open world and building.

Use a fsr3 mod and it will help a lot, but only try it if you have a half decent system / gpu and are already able to tweak settings and get at least a 60 FPS base frame rate. If you cant get at or close to 60 fps already then when you use frame gen it will have tons of input lag. This goes for all gpu brands.

I was getting around 80ish at all high presets and 1440p with just an older 6900xt oc, soon as I dropped in the fsr3 frame gen mod it now gives me 100-120 FPS avg depending on location and time of day.

"yet another unoptimized early access" is like saying "yet another inexperienced kid"

all early access isnt optimized very well. thats why they are called early access. you bought it, yet you complain about it. pretty dumb.
Calimar_T May 12, 2024 @ 1:23pm
Optimization happens afaik in the last 10-20% of the development time of a game
(correct me if i'm wrong)

I get constant hitching myself, with an occasional dc....
