Town rebellion not progressing
Am I the only one having this issue. I built the bell tower in town. Spoke with the elder. I had already killed the brigands in town prior to building the tower and now after its complete it just say that the town is rebelling. Its said it for about 5 in game days now. Now raid no other brigands nothing. I have gone back to older save files but still the same. Not sure what else to do here. I need to liberate the town to get new villagers to progress so I guess at this point im done.

Is the tower finished and inside the town "bounries"?
Did you try rebuilding the tower maybe?
If your safe is bugged i can hand you mine if you want, but it comes with its own bugs :steamsad:

Same here, I have liberated Hernadean but Bradford and Padstow are stuck after building the towers. 10 in game days at least now and no sing of the enemy.
Heck...the second I put the groundwork for the belltower the entire town guards went red on me....never even got the belltower started.....I am assuming if you do this BEFORE the current mayor speaks to you about rebellion then this happens.....I know that my small group of folks got insta-killed by the 7-8 guards that almost 1-2 shot my guys and decimated them....

Do the townspeople actually help at all when you initiate it? Or are you still stuck with only your own folks?

You should go and talk to the Elderly fart first, that initiates the 1st stage of rebellion and guards turn red on you. You wipe them out then lay down the groundwork for the tower.

Townsfolk does not help with fighting, they just leg it. They do help to build the tower though.

In all fairness I dont think doing it the "right" way round makes it any easier. But it seems at this stage not following everything step by step results in game ending bugs. I dont think I have it in me to start for the 3rd time lol

The tower cannot be removed nor destroyed once built.

Its too late for me to test this now, but hopefully it fixes the issue for those who already have liberation in progress.

Same for me got Padstow, Bradford and the far left town all on rebellion but no reclamation parties coming to take them back.... which means I'm stuck on research as I need the specialised townspeople, and can't get any til the rebellions are finished... hope this gets fixed as I can't progress any further atm
Got the same issue, talked to the elder to start the rebellion and built the tower, no progression afterwards, hope they fix it so it wont ruin my 50h savegame :D

Not rly, just patience and a lot of blocking skill thanks to playing Kingdom Come before lol. That and my villagers as cannon fodder, some ranged attacks etc, and I get by it seems.

Nonetheless last update didn't fix my issue all villages (bradford, padstow) still stuck at "is rebelling". Herndean got liberated before the bug kicked in it seems. I've tried Blackridgepool but same story, after building the tower invading party does not get sent.

This should be done differently. Quest should remain active until invading party is defeated. So you have an option to abandon the quest just to have ability to start it over. If party is not sent/defeated within X amount of game days there should be failsafe coded in.

I thought I might poke around and see if I can get some dev console running as it seems they have some dev cheats going on

CHEAT_StartInvasionImmediately seems like something that could fix out issues but well I cannot be bothered to go through with figuring this out. Anyway that was my 3rd attempt at this game and I am going to take a break for a while as I cant be asked to build yet another village just to get it smashed by a game braking bug.

Yes devs are aware and working on fixing this issue, we'll do our best to get it fixed asap.

Yup they're aware as per last patch notes:

Optimized map screen as a potential memory leak fix; if your game has been crafting with 16 GB RAM, please let us know if it fixed the issue for you.
Improved crafting delivery logic; it should fix crafting station's storage getting clogged with items.

Fixed Headquarters garrison not respawning over time and not sending new reclamation parties.

Fixed crash related to storage rules overrides.
Fixed items disappearing from Cabin and Cottage on loading the game.
Added missing texture to Cabin.
Fixes various visual issues with Cottage.
Removed lanterns from bridges that were blocking NPC movement.
Added missing icon for Coal Burner.
Fixed Wolves' Den quest issues.
fixed Digging Deeper quest issues.
Fixed Copper and Iron mining in background; when player is far away.

Although I've waited 5 in game days to no avail.

I've got this weird feeling that if this ever gets fixed then I will have 4 reclamation parties parties venturing my way at the same time lol

Ok I stand corrected it did work out, sadly in exactly the way I have anticipated, had 4 messages popping out saying large party is on the way. No chance to deal with them all but at least theres a hope for progressing even if I fail. It took 7 in game days.

A quick save and reload got the party started for me.
