How do you remove a player in Co OP

A couple of my friends started a server and we hit the 4 player cap pretty quickly. One of our friends decided they didn't like the game but there doesn't seem to be a way to free the slot back up.

Is it intended for offline players to hold the slot permanently?

Is there a way to remove inactive players permanently as the kick option seems to just disconnect the player temporarily.

Tried that, it disconnects the player but you can't do that on someone who is already offline.

Looks like it was just a version mismatch, had nothing to do with someone needing to be kicked.

I'm having the same issue. Player left and their body is chilling in front of the bench. What can I do?

I have the same problem. Friend stopped playing and now his idle character just stands stands in my town taking up space.

I too am wondering about this. Had one friend quit and would like to get another friend to join on my server, but theres no option to remove them

I'd probably visit their discord possibly throw this in their suggestions area. they don;t come here too often. Might not see this.
