research bugged

i have about 10 villages and none of them does any research i have turned all other workplaces of to see if it helps but none of them wants to work at the research desk , its not even like its high tech havent even gotten the village hall researched yet.

any help or advise on how to get someone to research

Do you have the required item for the research inside the research table?

What I did was select a villager and set their Research priority 2 (maybe 1 dont remember) and as long as there is resources for the blueprint he gets around to it eventually.

cant research too the required items are in the table but noone will research it even with priority numbers i even spend hours and lvled one person to lvl 4 but still wont do it. no tier 3 for me i guess

Oh so this is where I am at too. I got to this point and I am at 119 mins and was trying to research something but my guy wont do any of if.

Some Researches require apprentice specialties to research, read the technology carefully.

Like others, I none of my villagers will do research anymore. All set to 1 with a chest of resources right next to the bench. I used to be able to do my own research, but I can only manage research now, there is only one interaction point so I am stuck in progression.

Recently ran into this, seemed bugged for me for about an hour. I changed research, restocked new items then let workers take old items out. Then made a save of the game and quit to desk top. rebooting after that prompted them to start researching again.

There is a research skill and it has levels. Items being researched have level requirements as well. When you select it to research it will state its required skill level at the top of the item requirement popup. It will list the items listed for that item to be researched as well. It benefits you to have one good researcher with a high tier research skill level. You can level it up by usage and by books. The cost on this well pays for itself in the early game for sure. I think the woodcutter guy has a 6 cap and he is the first guy you get. He will get you by until you can afford a better replacement.

Does anyone have the same problem as me? My worker couldn't find Advanced Search Dest so it couldn't work. It doesn't show the Village Hall in the Building section so it's impossible to select it as a priority job.

Check to see if it ended up as another outpost. In me and my friends game, The village hall required a name after building. This ended up creating a new outpost with that so called name.

Hmm I read everyones comment and none of you mentioned Required Professions May want to check to see if the NPC has that first.

I changed the name to Village Hall, but after that I couldn't find it anymore. It doesn't show up in any tags. Is this the problem?

I had this and figured out it was because i did not have the proper person researching i needed a apprentice blacksmith.
