I want to buy this game, but...
I want to buy this game, but many people will say this game will be abandoned.

I do not care about the cost, money isn't the issue, it is the time I will invest in it that concerns me.

Any hard evidence that this game will meet the same fate as the others?

Well no one can tell you that 6 days into Early Access. I can tell you factually Last Oasis was not abandoned they just needed to regroup and maybe updated the game to Unreal 5.
Now being a SP game with how it is right now, I am over 15hrs in and still near the starting area with a giant map to explore and conquer. This is not just a city builder or survival or RTS this is a combo of all the above with tons to do right now. Though I am not interested in speeding my way through the game either.

My suggestion would be to head over to the Discord as I did. Link on Store page down right side before reviews. Hang in there chatting with people and decide if you want to try the game. I was in there for about 2hrs enjoying the conversation on launch day so I bought it to join the crowd. Started out feeling that money was too tight but glad I took the leap.

That is the best I can tell you. There is a good chance you are not going to get many honest real answers with your thread title. Will get a lot of haters because LO did not turn out to what they wanted.

No its not abandoned they have come out with patches. Like you I like to make sure my time is well spent in a good quilty game or at the very least game patches and attention.

I'm enjoying the game. Its a fighting game where as Manor Lord is thought of as a RPG. From playing the game I know I'll get more then the basic 40 hours of game play easy.

Plus I like exploring and fighting with a very basic building stuff. Though one thing disappoints. no blood.

I;m like Quentin Tarantino when I look at a game.

The game isn't in a bad place atm, for an early access title. With quite a few bug fixes, a few content patches, and some QoL love the game would be better than many other indie full releases.

As others mentioned, for an early access title theres tons of stuff to do. There was a patch every single day as far as i remember it, so the Dev's really put some ellbow grease in. Can't say that i regret buying this game so far.

i currently put 35 hrs into bellwright and have only just began to grind out mats to build my hall and get to the second tier of buildings currently in game.. i thoroughly am enjoying this game. and the fact that they have released a patch every day to fix issues is a plus. i think with a few additions over time to make it better this game will be really good. even if it were to get abandoned today i believe its worth the money with whats in it currently. But i do not believe they will abandon the game.

Tons to do? There's barely any buildings and nothing to do but pick flax. The combat and building are horrible.

There's no way to predict the future (about whether the game will actually make it to 1.0 release). In its present state the game is fun and it's not very expensive though.

I look at it this way...I paid 35$ and played 16 hrs so far and not even close to what is offered in the early access. If you can play 1hr per $ spent... imo you win. The game is good.

Manorlords is a city builder, like Banished but with 3rd person camera (not control). Bellwright is a 1st person survival with NPC towns, like Medieval Dynasty, but with combat and dynamic gameplay. Also the map in Bellwright is HUGE.
Since I like exploration and I get bored with typical City Building games, I got Bellwright. It's an amazing game. I love games like NoManSky, Conan Exiles & KC:D and this one hits those similarities.
