where to place construction hammer for npc use

Hi, i'm not playing on english version so maybe i don't use the good term but where i have to add ''construction hammer'' for npc to actually use it?
I tryed npc inventory and chest but they don't help me to construct the big house. Am i missing something?

Remove any other tool/weapon from them. From what I understand they do not switch between tools/weapons well. Also make sure they have the correct skills. May need points in either Strength or agility as well. I know with the bow they must have a point in agility or will not use it.

Thank you, i will try that. Im building the house required for T2 and this is a lot of white dot to click! Dunno if there is a skill req for this one.

I found that just having it in a store is sufficient. They pick it up when they need it.

another issue might be your priorities on that character, i have my builder on 1 priority building and almost everything els is disallowed. he helps me alot.

many people miss understand the priority system thinking 10 is the highest, but 1 is the highest

weapons rack for tools and weapons is what i usually do

Hey man, I had the same issue this morning. Turns out I switched my npc to my new outpost, but the town hall was still consider in my first settlement. Had to switch the town hall to my new outpost and my npc started building it right away.
