Lost Quest item, now i can't proceed the game.

Before i got the quest on the verge, i raided the bandit camp and got the treasure from the quest. But i got raided by bandits and they took the quest item. I proceeded to raid every near bandit camp but i can't seem to find the quest item. Anyone got a solution for this?

Just chiming in to say i'm stuck with the same issue. Checked camps and personal chests and did not find it.

Exactly i've hear the item could re appear in the private chest, yet nothing to be found there aswell.

I lost stuff also from my privat chest, treasure and books plus coins.

mhmm. kind of stuck on the same here too. raiders took the treasure and now we cant complete the quest. is there a solution for this?

figured it out. just kill the guy he will drop 500 coins too :)

I found a chest even though I don't have an active quest for one... so there's that.

"cant" - Keep that chest, you will need it for the ghost former guard in the woods task to complete it.

yeah keep the chest safe if you want to finish the quest wich you will get later.. same thing in our case didnt know what to do with it until it was gone

cancel the quest and retake it

Put in a bug report, they should flag quest items as not stealable.

For me it seems like the private stash got wiped along with the quest chest.
