Used clothing/armor

I have made several generation of upgrade to my clothing/armor. Now, what do I do with the used ones? Sell them? (To whom) or just trash them??

same here can't find an answer anywhere. i feel like we should be able to disassemble them for resources or vendor to sell to but i haven't found either.

Not sure if you can disassemble them - that might come later. Can only really trash them in the outhouse if storage is an issue - or maybe save for new, poorly equipped villagers.

I either swap them out with my workers or companions gear or throw them in the outhouse to delete. As far as i know there isnt anywhere to sell them, although making gear and selling them seems to be something the devs have missed, could be a good coin maker right there.

I'd love for the shopkeepers to allow a wider array of selling. Have a clothier accept any type of clothing (larger amounts of cheaper items and smaller amounts of bigger items - supply/demand and all that). In the meantime though, I'm going to use my hut's chest and a chest I build just for clothes so I can cloth my peeps with the best things I can. Just items will have to "soak up the nasties" as @Maldar so nicely put it :)

Don't trash them. You can trade them to liberated villages at good prices for materials you can use (Bronze, Logs, Raw Hide, Leather, Furs, Hides, Feathers, etc.)

How, is there a new vendor?

Its not a vendor, its a new option in liberated settlements when you click on them on map - trade tab appears. Every settlement has different items to offer.

Different towns offer different goods (than each other, but always the same offerings at a specific town) and trade for your items at different values (so make sure you to compare). Also, its says it trades for water, but it doesn't (cancels the sale).

Trades offer Rep with the city you trade with and offerings refresh at daybreak (when village notification takes place).
