both early access but i try manorlord its beautifully optimized maxed setting and less bug than this bellwright now corupted 70d save file
I preferred this one for the more "Personal Touch" of being able to personally butcher bandits. Hehehe
As has been said, Manor Lords is a city builder... think, Banished... and then think it again. It's slow paced, but has a nice combat feature. It has a fun 3rd person camera, but it's really just a camera... very nice camera.
They are absolutely nothing alike (Except the medieval theme)
My thoughts on them both....
Manor Lords is FAR more polished, looks far nicer and runs better.. however it has much less content than Bellwright.
Bellwright is more engaging and has far more content.. yet nowhere near as polished and can be pretty rough.
Since I like exploration and I get bored with typical City Building games, I got Bellwright. It's an amazing game. I love games like NoManSky, Conan Exiles & KC:D and this one hits those similarities.
Bellwright is a decent indie game but its simpler, less detailed and badly missing features it needs. Given the amount of walking in this game if any game needed mounts this was it.
If you can afford both they are worth it. If you can only buy one for the foreseeable future I'd get Manor Lords.
