I tried with steam input but was too janky.
The updates are flying in at a good rate, which is awesome.
Any chance either of you ever seen a "lets play" of this maybe a slightly longer video or possibly a series?
I'm watching Partially Royal's video right now. He's pretty into it :)

I have found a bug that happens and has been happening since the Demo first released, the campfires seem to develop a bug where you cannot add food to them to cook, it seems to happen randomly for no valid reason I can find, ive tried building in different map locations, and every time the same thing happens as I progress into the game.
so to answer your question, I manage about a good 5 hrs of gameplay before a bug that I cant resolve/workaround forces me to restart a new game.
Ive reported this bug twice now, Has anybody else had this problem?? ps, demolishing them and rebuilding does nothing,
I had this happen on 2 cauldron campfires around the same time. I demolished and rebuilt them and they worked fine afterwards.
Do you become the lord of the local region?
I don't know, I haven't gotten that far yet. You do liberate villages at some point from a corrupt lord that employs brigands to oppress the locals, but I don't think you become Lord of their villages, only your own.
I stalled for quite a bit trying to find the next optimal location for my new settlement, and I wanted it to have iron nearby which was hard to find. I'm sure it's possible to progress faster than I did if you really push forward hard. My village currently has 7 NPCs in it, although I could hire several more. As I'm currently migrating it's not the right time.
Combat is quite challenging and unforgiving, think Bannerlord on steroids, but getting companions and better gear help immensely.
Hunting is pretty poor in this game at the moment, and i would say its the worst but of the game. The animals are super skittish and can see you from well outside of bow range. The bows are terribly inaccurate in the stage of the game i'm at. You can one shoot deer with a bow, but it feels like luck rather than skill tbh. It day three of early access so hopefully it will be tweaked.
So far the early access gods have been kind to me and i've suffered no major bugs or crashes, but others have.

I do like Bannerlord quite a bit.. so that's what the fighting is like then?? Like the tournament style directional combat? Seems pretty fun.
Not far in at all and have restarted over twice, did verify integrity of files for game, and sent "bug" report to developer. The strange thing is the game runs very smooth, no crashes, killing wolves and bandits is fine. Ah well, will see what developer response is as I really want to play this. :)
