Voice actors please please please
I really hope that the developers get voice actors instead of the horrible auto voiced dialogue. It sounds so dead pan as it is, with no emotion at all.

Also for the sake of immersion remove the American accents, far to modern sounding.

AI GENERATED CONTENT DISCLOSURE
The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

We are using generative AI during development to prototype the voice acting. Expect professional voice acting for the full release.

It's right in the store page.

What about the AI generated art used in the intro cinematic? I hope that's placeholder, too, but they don't even mention it in the disclosure.

Why? You rather they pay some dude like 10 bucks on fiver to do it? I don't understand this fear of AI for place holders, also even permanent stuff. Like where did AI touch you? Seriously EVERY ONE DOES IT. I know people who use it with thousands of followers to write freaking tweets for them lol. ♥♥♥♥ product descriptions are done with it now, hell you got people Grammarly for their college homework lol

This is like asking people to go back to hand drawn cinimitics instead 3d rendered, because its hurting the animiators lol. And yes I seen people ralley against 3d animation because they were made at it for "costing them a job" when in reality they found it cheaper to do hand drawn in sweatshop in asia long before it, and they just want lash out.

Like people see complaining the most about AI stuff are the ones who already were lossing work before it or couldn't make a real living off it. Hell even my professors are suggesting using it to help with ideas, and getting past writers block lol. I even seen art professors embrace it, for CONCEPT art not replacing real art.

I just get this fear we sawp out workers with machines every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day, we outsource labor that can't be done by autimation to cheap labor countries. But now suddenly people care that the guy who couldn't get steady work to begin with is complaining some one else took their job. I mean people I know complaining AI took their work were crying Fiver took their work 2 years ago lol

Like no joke I paid a fraction of cost to have some artwork assets made on fiver from some one in middle east lol. Like you look hard enough you can find cheap ♥♥♥♥ all over the place, that do a decent or even good job. And then people who do a decent or sometimes good job complaining they medicore work can now not only be outsourced, but you can pay for AI apps and then have to learn how to feed the AI to do it.

I am just tired of it I seen autmation take so many jobs and dumb down ♥♥♥♥. My mother is on old cashier contract when it was hard you ahd to do math, and stuff now the machine counts change for you, can even do cash now at self check out they need 1 person to watch 6 check outs. But automate jobs that you can literall sit down and do as side hustle not ones you use to do for a LIVING and its like you gone too far lol

AI art just looks ugly. If you're gonna spout exposition at me with a slide show you could at least make the slideshow look interesting.

Like I said, I hope it's just placeholder. I don't wanna get into a whole discussion about genAI because you seem quite embedded in your stance and I know how that goes from previous attempts at having a discussion about it.

Yeah ai this ai that, as even Musk said, they can replace everybody, everywhere. So all those pro AI fans, will get their own dose of reality, either soon or later. Its the future and who needs people if he can get AI to work for a small percentage of the expenses. Its so easy to use and simply to scratch people off the list of requirements. Funny thing is that those that get replaced are ussualy those who are voiced the least so its easy to gain grounds for AI everywhere. But eventualy it will start to replace middle class, and go even higher. Kinda the thing we see throughout the history, its just another variable in play.

Ok, now ignoring the AI thing. Would you rather the game to be completely silent? Be gratefull for what you have and that the game ia being still cared for.

@DEVS -> Check out Speechify / NaturalReader / Murf.ai or any of the dozens of other good ones out there. Use their AI to generate all the voice acting for a flat rate with a natural sound. Give each character a different voice. I do agree it should be UK English. You can also generate them with auto translate in other languages with the click of a button.

The QUALITY of the voice is amazing... you can adjust the amount of feeling / mood and get much more than a flat audio.

I can understand why people would use AI. but I do hope that small companies once they start making money do go back and get real VOs to replace the lines.

Like for art, I've personally paid artists to make something and I've given good detail and then they change things because they think it's better or don't like some of the things I said to have or make. but yet I'm paying for it and then most of them post it publicly making it not even private anymore either. and the worst part. at least here in the US, the law protects artists for all of this.

So I can understand why AI is appealing especially for someone(s) starting out. but hopefully they also remember what it was like trying to start out doing a job you WANT. and know that those VOs and artists are doing the same. even if a fair about of them are douches

I dont think AI voice acting is all that bad to be honest, plus the devs have already stated that this will change in future, close to game finish.
