smelting
why aren't my villagers smelting i have the resources and they have the correct level im hard stuck because they wont smelt

i did that and i cant even use the fire to cook food anymore

That's what happening to me too, now im stuck at research the belltower since it need like 5 bronze ingot damn annoying

The pathfinding and job working on the workers is broken. I have my craftsmen at level 7 and her only job is smelting at 1. I disabled all others. All she does is stand around.
My cook has level 8 cooking and he burns everything he touches.

same, i don't have option to smelt, nor will any settlers smelt anything.

The game's progression system is completely broken for me. I'm 3 weeks in, and i still can't smelt anything.. i hope this is fixed

you have smelted nothing in 3 whole weeks in game so day 21? No smelting.

smelting is considered crafting. So do you have people assigned to crafting and delivery? Also depending on what you want to smelt it might take a higher lvl of crafting. Like copper and tin are lvl 1 I think but bronze is lvl 3 I think.

I'd start over if you really think its a bug.

Does any of you use wemod? Or any kind of mod that enables free crafting? If so you must disable that first

FREE crafting.. wow and I thought my settings were kinda cheating.. good lord.

Im having same problem have all stations set to 5 priority and set smelting to 1 still have not created a single ignot.
