Your workers that do logging could potentially deforest the area you slapped them down in too so keep an eye out.
Otherwise, just disassemble them and try putting them down again.
I have the traps set in the tree area, so not sure whats going on. also is there a way to grow trees back in this game?
Pro-tip: Search the woods and when you spot a rabbit, place a trap in its area. Do not just randomly place traps in different locations without having seen the animal you wish to trap.
That's strange. I can replace my traps and place a berry and walk away and turn around and ....pop... a blue light shines and i've caught a rabbit.
thats what use to happen I would always have meat and i didnt even put them anywhere specific, but ill try placing them where i see rabbits to see if it starts working again.
never had any issues after 20 hours of playing, thinking one of the updates might of screwd up my saved game.
I had 3 traps in the woods, I was manually clearing them every morning and had a steady supply of rabbits. Then I built a hut, probably too close to them to them and never saw another rabbit.
So the traps need to be in a good location, the hut should be in your town center well away from the traps.
So it *might* be that you killed a tree on the wrong place :P
I had that happen once. As soon as I grabbed the meat he decided he had something better to do and walked off. They get stuck on trees and rocks occasionally too. Pretty much every game has problems like that, dino's *still* get stuck in Ark 8 years after they 'fixed' it.
nope. no rabbits found, but just placed a trap inside the forest, and there you go, meat every day. I think it's more of a bug that you can't catch anything with some traps.
yeah I was never very specific where I put my traps, I never saw any rabbits in my area and still was getting meat every time then one day I load my game up and now I can never catch anything with them.
