How do i make Simple Cord?

I have been buying them but everything requires them. I can't figure out what i need to unlock to be able to make them? Any ideas?

Came here to ask the same question. I imagine it has something to do with hemp and the crafting table but so far 🤷‍♂️

You have to create a weaving loom and then it uses flax to make the cord

You can buy them south of Haerndean, west of the bandit encampment at a "Craftsman Hut".

Flax and Hemp are all over the area near first village....hemp is located at the wood edges towards the pond were you will be hunting for your river reeds and where the craftsman hut is that sell scrap metal among cords and rope as well....there is also a small stone area with 2 chests and some goodies its a wolves den area and you may have some wolves nearby....for me the wolves are by the craftsman and usually there are about 6-8 of them.....further up the hill a boar or two....
