What is the format for Co-Op in this game? The host always have to be online, is a character locked to that game save, can you share the session with co-op partners so they can start it up without the host etc?
Character is Saved to File.
Host has to start session for friends to join, they can not play without Host.
That's a pity and unfortunate devs don't take advantage of bringing in modern co-op options, session save sharing and host not having to be online is really going backwards
No dedicated only self hosted coop of 4 players for now.
This game is nothing like MOE really. The focus of this game is more of a city builder survival with less importance placed on combat then MOE.
I have and like MOE but in some ways already this game is better with the exception of the Co-op only. No real word if Dedicated will come or not.
Give them some time this is what the end of day 3 of Early Access. They can not have everything ready to go at launch as that would not be Early Access then.
