Terrible idea. Please rethink before removing chalenges from the game, or allow to control it through options before the game mechanics drop to the level of some hack/slash generic titles.
Short repply: GIT GUT
Reflect on yourself and improve mate.
Deers go down with single headshot, you can hear them from far away and directional sound is very accurate. You suck at bows, well YOU SHOULD - its RPG, you need to improve skills to get them to become very efective.
I dont think this whole post is about deer hunting being hard, but about people being lazy to grind for better results. Yeah, you can come at me, i am seriously interested about how many of you are capable of self criticsm.
I sucked at their hunting two, antlers trophy was first found before second winter, but hell it felt as an achievement. I got archery to lvl 3 and then it was headshot party with them. And it was quite satisfying.
Its like somekind of mark of the current civilisation, everybody expects everything immediately and no one likes to work for it, sad.
This will eventualy remove all chalenge from the game and turn it into a generic hack/slash or speed battle games with original soul being completely gone.
Tty to be a bit more self critical, and work to improve yourselves instead of constantly asking for benefits.
Wish there was a sneak/crouch option but right now may as well run to them before unleashing a bowshot and hoping
Yep, thats a proper respectfull aproach. Let people who like chalenge and imersion have their hard times, and let people who want things easy have their free runs.
At some point it will propably be introduced that hunters will go out to hunt deers themselves, just to embarass all players 😁.
Hunting deer is incredibly frustrating at archery < 3.
At 3 you have accurate enough aim to be ABLE to aim for the head instead of "to whom it may concern".
This is my man 😎👍, thats the way to go.
Exactly the thought on them that I had and wrote. Lol, like what ia the sense in improving skilks if they want all to be easily available on level one, lol.
Not sure, but maybe hunting skill has something to do with it. I tended to not get almoat any antlers, but the last two day i am getting antler like from 80% of catches.
For the shot I like to go around them so they face me directly, once they stop I aim, as soon as he puts his head down to eat I stretch the bow and shoot aiming above his head into his back, somehow the gravity allways pulls it down perfectly for a headshot.
Just got the elm bow and made my first kill and cannot harvest the corpse.
Edit: just found the "remains" interaction further up the hill, seems it stayed at the point it died rather than where the corpse settled.
Exactly, its rpg, improve on skills, get better, life gets easier.
