How do we unlock tier 3

I have unlocked everything upto tier 3..nothing in starter research bench and nothing left on tier 2 advanced bench, I have liberated Hearndean and about to do the same with Padstow, I also have at least 1 of every building placed in my settlement tier 1 and 2.Am i missing something please tell?

You have to build a T3 town hall, it comes with a T3 research desk.

Yeah but isnt that part of tier 3, I mean in the advanced research desk there is no option to unlock the town hall.

You're supposed to be able to research the town hall from the T2 bench, that's how I got it.

use the "U" button in game to bring up the tech tree
Just like you got to tier 2 with the town hall is the same way it displays moving to tier 3

It requires an Apprentice Carpenter to do the Research of the Town Hall AT the Village Hall's T2 Research desk.

Clearly a bug then, because on BOTH my solo game and my Co-Op game, the Town Hall is available for Research at the Village Hall T2 Research table with a Carpenter (that you have). I'd report it to Discord and their twitter, to get the most exposure.

where did you guys find your apprentice carpenters? i tried in the start town just an expert one didnt see any apprentices will try other towns.

As an update, my buddy and I on our Co-Op game just unlocked T3 by doing exactly what myself and others said in this Thread, using the Carpenter to Research the Town Hall at the T2 Village Hall. So the OP clearly has a bug that needs addressed.
