I mean, I’ve got this one NPC who’s supposed to be a farmer. He’s got the whole overalls-and-straw-hat look going on. But instead of tending to the crops, he’s out there doing interpretive dance moves in the cornfield. I swear, he thinks he’s auditioning for ‘Farmers Got Talent.’
And don’t get me started on the so-called ‘cooks.’ They’re more like culinary anarchists. They take a carrot, a tomato, and a chicken leg, throw it all in a pot, and call it ‘experimental fusion cuisine.’ Last night, they served me a dish that tasted like regret and desperation. I’m pretty sure Gordon Ramsay would have a meltdown.
As for the hunters, they’re a special breed. They go out into the wilderness armed with sticks and determination. But instead of bringing back game, they return with random stuff—feathers, rocks, a broken compass. I asked one of them, ‘Where’s the venison?’ He just shrugged and said, ‘Well, I found this shiny pebble. It’s practically gourmet.’
And let’s not forget battle time. These NPCs charge into combat with empty stomachs. No wonder they’re so hangry—they’re fighting on an empty calorie deficit. I tried to give them a pep talk: ‘Remember, guys, victory tastes better with a side of mashed potatoes.’ But they just stared at me like I’d lost my marbles.
So yeah, I’ve given up. Now I head into battle solo. At least I know I won’t be abandoned mid-fight because someone’s craving a snack. Maybe I’ll start a new guild: ‘Lone Warriors Who Pack Their Own Lunch.’ We’ll be unstoppable!
As for the issue with NPC's feeding themselves before battle, the staging ground was introduced to help alleviate this problem, make sure to centralise the staging ground for easy access to weapons, food and gear.. also, you can now make food bags for you and your companions which is used to store extra food for those long journeys it also reduces food from spoiling.
