You want to know exactly where and what storage said item is in, yeah so do I. Not currently a thing. Maybe a mod will get to it before the devs, not sure if this is something on their current to do list. It's been asked several times over though so maybe.
Efficiency depends on how many delivery people/tasks there are at a time.
I did read somewhere that the trade items from other towns are placed in the closest storage.
A flag for a storage to specifically receive deliveries would help and allow me and my workers to deal with our own tasks instead of correcting the FedUPS deliveries.
Because otherwise, with the storage bugs, this is a PITA.
The only solution seems to be to create chests, etc. and assign them to my private outpost so villagers can't touch the stuff.
This wouldn’t happen to be the same Bobloblaw that used to play Thang and Perfect World, is it?
