How do we carry water?

I have seen references to Water Jug we need water to make some things and i have the water collector almost made but that means we still need to transport the water somehow to add to things. I guess we can probablyi collect it but woudl be nice if we coudl carry water from a lake or stream.

any tps welcome and also info on the Water Jug

You use the water jug as any other backpack.

For your character, it will only allow you to carry water in it, not anything else.

But if you give it to your workers, their general inventory slots becomes much larger, and they are not restricted to water only.

You don't need Water Jug to carry water, it just expend a inventory exclusive to water.
You can carry water just like any other items in your inventory, as well as other followers. The only thing different is not able to store it on any storage.
