2 questions Mining ore and hunger depletion.
1) When mining I see it says Tin, I press the button hold it in and sometimes I will strike the rock 20+ times and get nothing. So do the rocks have a finite number of ore? Is there a trick to mining more efficiently? I'm labor lvl 5.

2) So did they change something with food recently? I haven't played in about 9 days but when you ate before it would refresh your current far left food. Now it looks like all the food shifts and the food you just consumed goes to the far right. That's ok. It seemed like a bug/exploit.. but now it seems like they turned up the food depreciation quite a bit.. I mean whatever I eat seems to last maybe 3-5 mins if I'm lucky.. did they change the rate at which food is consumed?

Mining sometimes gives ore and sometimes not. makes it realistic which is a nice featrue.

I don't mind that.. but 20+ hits? Seems a bit ridiculous.. I could understand maybe 5.. 6.. 7.. 10? But multiple times I just stopped and went to another rock because I was not getting anything.

if you need some NOW. Make a couple of your best harvester skilled villagers your active companions and give them mining picks. Then command them to mine the nodes. Just take the ore from their inventory and dump the stones. Also unlock either the log sling or water jug for your villagers to use. There is actually no restriction on what the extra slots can be used for when NPC use those.
