Removing traps

Is there a way to permanently remove a trap? I have a trap that my hunter constantly gets stuck on, so I want to remove it or place it somewhere else.

What they mean specifically is to open the build menu and look at the top right. You'll see a button that says "Disassemble". Click that, then walk up to the trap and press F. This will put it back into your inventory. As a bonus, broken traps that are picked up this way are automatically fixed.

Oh bonus! Thanks for the thorough explanation. I thought the disassemble only worked for the buildings in the build menu, not for traps.
