3rd person only or is first person mode available?

For my personnal decission to buy the game I need to know if I can play the game in 1st person. A 3rd person only is a NoGo for me.

Currently only 3rd person. Much to the chagrin of myself and many others.

With the notable exception of entering your hut, where you have a glorious moment of a first person experience, just to let you know that everything is already in place to make the game better, but they simply elected not to.

1st person is on the Devs radar, I believe they spoke about it in the recent update video on YT yesterday or the day before.
