Using Mods

Ok guys ... so I have been playing for a while ... but after liberating Farnsworth things are getting a bit too much for me (My Character) to solo ... I do not trust my Villagers as they seem as weak as Dishwater ^^ ... so I thought .. Mods ... I Downloaded the ones off Nexus ... but can not seem to get them working ... any advice into which folders the unlocker goes and to where do i add the other mods? (No Idea what I am doing with any of them tbh :) ) ... helpfull advice please, not private opinions ;) .. thanks in advance MV

Are you positive the mod is up to date with the latest patch?

@ Wizard of Woz ... the only one that was dated before the Forestry update is Joew's Unlocker ... the rest are end of May early June Mods ... so I guess they are meant to be working.. Yes? :)

You need to read the description of those mods.

Some are not compatible and will interfere with each other. Make sure you're not using more than one mod that changes the same files.

For me everything works fine, but I only do use a hand full of mods like bigger stashes, pockets and more quiver slots.

There's everything you need to know in the mods description on Nexus, if you follow instructions you'll be fine.

For JOEW'S Mods unlocker:

[ x ] Instructions:
Extract the zip file: JoewBellwrightModsUnlocker to the root folder you installed the game.
By default it is:
Steam\steamapps\common\Bellwright

13) Housing Expansions x5
14) Hunting Redux - Snail's Pace
15) Inventory Expansion x2
16) Knowledge Book Experience x100
17) No Sign Restrictionor Renown Cost
18) Prestigious Pension prices x100
19) Reduced Reclamation Party x1
20) Storage Expansion x100

Any of you know if any of those Mods conflict with each other? As of today (Tues 11th June) still no luck getting anything to work ... obviously I have done it wrong somewhere eh? :(

Stop trying to use so many mods in a game that is in EA status. Install 1, see if it works. Then go from there.

I have tried that ... zilch ... nada ... zip .... the one I tried was Darkness Kittens expanded inventory x2 spaces ... but no effect :) (I did try various things all you guys were suggesting ... but nope .. nothing :( ) And yes .. I did the Unlocker first .. unzipped in the Root (the Steam Apps/Common/Bellwright part) ... and the mod inside the mod folder its self, when unzipped it made a branch that held the DMVK file... yes?)

Did you do a clean uninstall and install before trying one mod at a time?

It isn't a matter of just unistalling. You need to do a clean unistall. Which means unistalling and then going through and deleting any left over files or folders.

But that would negate my current save ... would it not? o.O ( my guy is almost at full plate ... lack of inventory bag space is a thing I was trying to circumvent :) )
