Do you mean the river that starts out just slightly southwest of Bradford? And when you say South, do you mean after or before Horndean? Could you be more specific in general as to where you found the mud node? Finally, for a slightly sillier question, is it only visible if you have the shovel equipped? I have been effectively soft-locked out of the game because I can't unlock the mixing bucket (even after "cheesing it" by buying the tools to craft a shovel from a merchant)
And your shovel is absurdly fragile for gathering with, and expensive to repair.
I looked in and around all the lakes I could find.
There's just no mud on my map.

Thanks for the help, tho.
Also, I know it's called "mud," but I think the devs mean clay. Mud doesn't make any sense. That distinction helped me a bit when trying to spot it.
