How to get multiplayer to work without a third party.

This is a theory right now but I was able to make it to host a game screen without that ipx failed to connect error. How I did it.

Open your files.

Go to which drive you saved it to. Ex C or D

Next go to the folder that you saved the game in. EX GOG games. (I have the gog version)

Click on the game folder. Ex Battlespire

Click on dsobox_battlespire_server. I had to open mine with notepad

At the top you should see [ipx]

under it you should see ipx=false

change false to true to it looks like this. ipx=true

start the game normally and you should now be able to get to hosting a game and what type of game you want it to be. Before that I was not able to.
