unless, they are assuming that everyone is gonna just do the unity version(?). . i dunno. This is Bethesda. It's neat that they gave us this for free and all, so , i'm not complaining
the controller lets me walk around and look up and down , but i can't attack or cast spells.
even though the A button is set to left click and Y is set to right click and it works in the menus, it doesn't work in the actual gameplay when i have my weapon out, pressing the Y button on the controller does not swing the weapon.
so if all the controller does is let me move around and i still need to use the keyboard and mouse for attacking and jumping and all the other stuff, i may as well not even use the controller then. .
or maybe i'm just not savvy enough to figure it out.
edit : i figured it out. the "controls" screen has a button all the way upper right hand side , says "primary". I needed to switch that to "secondary", then i could bind controls to the controller
