Water/Swimming bug? issue? quirk?

Something I've been noticing is sometimes, seemingly at random my character will crouch while swimming and I have to press the button to un-crouch every time. It's getting pretty annoying and I'm wondering if this is a known issue with the unity version of the game? An intended mechanic (in which case is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?) or something else?

I never noticed that happening when I was swimming in DFU. Do you have a keybind bound to two different functions? Do you have any mods?

I don't have any keybinds bound to multiple functions as unity does not even allow that to be configured afaik.

I do have a mod called "sneak and crouch combined"

Do you think it is a bug caused by that mod?

Probably, yes. Try disabling that and see what happens.

Just so you know: Sneaking and Crouching gives no added sneak bonus.

Sneaking makes you sneak.

Crouching makes you sneak

Crouching and Sneaking makes you sneak. But not any more than either of the two options above. It just makes you move super slow.

Crouching and Sneaking makes you sneak. But not any more than either of the two options above. It just makes you move super slow.

I figured as much. It was just an easier way for me to tell when I was sneaking and when I wasn't.
