Ugh.
the other answer is no if you prefer to be as close to the original experience as possible.
Regarding Daggerfall, I agree with Icedfate.
The gameplay between the two is almost the same (enemies dodge a bit in the Unity version) so you're getting almost exactly the same experience, but better QOL.
You still need to make sure you're fully prepared before diving into certain dungeons =D Save before you do rash things.
At any rate, all quests of the main quest sequence are completable, and most side quests.
I described how I feel about Daggerfall vs. Daggerfall Unity in earlier posts.
Ewww. Ok Fallout1/2 is fine. NV without some mods is a bloody mess. Vampire without the comunity patch is a joke. Morrowind is WAY better in unity and runs properly on modern systems. Ive been gaming since 84 and there is no way the old versions are "better" This is just nostagia goggles. In the case of morrowind, It needs so many QOL mods to not be a painfull slog.... Who said anything about visual mods. This is about gameplay. And 30 year old gameplay often has a lot of rough edges. Daggerfall looks like crap on a modern screen. Most of these games do. Their art was never meant for LCD/OLED
